About the Journal

Prospherus is a digital multidisciplinary research journal with a continuous publication frequency (Quarterly Continuous Publication).

All manuscripts undergo a rigorous Initial Editorial Evaluation followed by Peer Review to ensure they meet the journal’s objectives and minimum quality standards. Study design, research argumentation, and references must be properly structured and articulated.

Ethical Commitment:

Prospherus maintains a strong commitment to research ethics, aligning with international standards such as the Declaration of Helsinki and the Recommendations of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE).
For studies involving human or animal subjects, explicit documentation of Informed Consent and Research Ethics Committee (IRB) approval is required.

Target Audience:

Our publication is intended for specialists, academics, and researchers with a particular interest in topics within the aforementioned areas.

Publication Frequency

Prospherus publishes four issues per volume on a quarterly basis, corresponding to:

  • Issue 3: published in early July

  • Issue 4: published in early October

Manuscript submission is open year-round. Authors may submit their articles at any time and, if necessary, update their manuscripts during the editorial process.

Interoperability (OAI-PMH)

The Prospherus journal uses the OAI-PMH (Open Archives Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting) protocol, which allows other indexing platforms and services to harvest metadata from our content.

Digital preservation policy

In this sense, our website is developed under Open Journal Systems (OJS) which is an open source software developed by the Public Knowledge Project (PKP) that has the Portico or CLOCKSS service, through which the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) works to digitally preserve OJS journals through the LOCKSS programme in order to create permanent journal archives, aimed at preserving the original contents and restoring them if necessary, as well as making it possible for these archives to be distributed among libraries and digital repositories.
