Author Guidelines

The Prospherus Scientific Journal maintains a permanent call for the submission of original, previously unpublished manuscripts. The Editorial Team conducts a preliminary assessment of each submission to verify its alignment with the journal's focus, scope, and quality standards. Works approved at this initial stage are forwarded to blind review by external experts under a double-blind system, who determine whether the work is accepted, revised, or rejected.

The author team must ensure that formal permission has been obtained for any third-party material included in the text (images, maps, figures, or datasets). Submission implies that all listed researchers explicitly consent to their co-authorship and retain their intellectual property rights without restriction, accepting the journal's licensing regime: the historical archive published through 2026 is distributed under the CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license, while articles accepted for upcoming volumes from 2027 onward will adopt the CC BY-NC 4.0 license.

When the nature of the study requires it, authors must certify that the protocol has been approved by an institutional research ethics committee (IRB or equivalent), in accordance with the international standards of the Declaration of Helsinki and the ICMJE Recommendations. The Editorial Committee reserves the right to promptly reject manuscripts that do not meet basic methodological guidelines, conceptual clarity, or structural consistency in the research design. The title should be concise, and the abstract should be structured to stand on its own (describing objectives, methodology, key results, and conclusions) to facilitate international indexing.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must strictly meet the following requirements before starting the process, confirming that:

  1. The manuscript strictly adheres to the formatting, length, structure, and citation criteria detailed in the Author Guidelines.
  2. The work is rigorously original and previously unpublished, has not been published in whole or in part in any other scientific publication, and is not under simultaneous review by any other journal.
  3. The bibliographic references have been thoroughly verified to ensure their technical accuracy, consistency, and the correct inclusion of their respective active DOI links.
  4. Tables, figures, charts, and maps are inserted within the body of the text, numbered consecutively, clearly titled, and accompanied by their corresponding original sources.
  5. The necessary usage licenses or written authorizations for the public reproduction of materials protected by third-party property rights are available.
  6. The author team agrees that the manuscript will be distributed under the journal's Diamond Open Access schemes: the CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license for volumes through 2026, and the CC BY-NC 4.0 license for volumes published from 2027 onward.
