Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to make a submission to this journal. All submissions will be assessed by an editor to determine whether they meet the aims and scope of this journal. Those considered to be a good fit will be sent for peer review before determining whether they will be accepted or rejected.

Before making a submission, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos, documents and datasets. All authors identified on the submission must consent to be identified as an author. Where appropriate, research should be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study's country.

An editor may desk reject a submission if it does not meet minimum standards of quality. Before submitting, please ensure that the study design and research argument are structured and articulated properly. The title should be concise and the abstract should be able to stand on its own. This will increase the likelihood of reviewers agreeing to review the paper. When you're satisfied that your submission meets this standard, please follow the checklist below to prepare your submission.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.

Articles

At PROSPERUS, research ethics is a fundamental principle. All studies involving human or animal subjects must comply with recognized international standards. Authors must:

• Obtain and document informed consent from participants.

• Obtain approval from a Research Ethics Committee (IRB) or equivalent body.

• Guarantee the confidentiality and anonymity of subjects at all stages of the study.

• Implement additional safeguards for vulnerable populations.

 


We align ourselves with the principles of the Declaration of Helsinki.

We also adhere to the Recommendations of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE)

The Prospherus Scientific Journal is firmly committed to the security and protection of the personal data of its authors, reviewers, editors, and users. The following statement formalizes the procedures for data collection and use, in compliance with applicable data protection regulations.

Principles of Data Collection and Purpose of Processing

The journal only collects personal data (such as names, academic titles, institutional affiliations, and email addresses) that are strictly necessary for the management of the editorial and publication process of manuscripts. 

  • Exclusive Purpose: The collected data will be used exclusively for the purposes established on the platform, including: user registration, communication regarding submission status, management of the peer review process, and indexing of published articles. 
  • Permanent Identification: Upon publication, author metadata, including name and affiliation, will be made public in the article and will be submitted to indexing databases (such as Crossref, Dialnet, and Latindex) to ensure the correct attribution and citation of the scientific work.

Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure to Third Parties

Prospherus guarantees the security, protection, and confidentiality of your personal data. 

  • Limited Use: Names, email addresses, and any other personal information provided will not be provided to third parties or used for purposes other than those established in this policy, unless the data subject grants explicit consent. 
  • Editorial Obligation: Reviewers, editors, and all personnel involved in the journal's value chain are obliged to maintain the strict confidentiality of the manuscripts and the authors' personal information they handle during and after the review process.

The journal implements adequate technical and organizational security measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, damage, or destruction. We are committed to maintaining protection systems to safeguard the sensitive information of our collaborators.

  • Rectify any inaccurate or incomplete data.
