About the Journal

The Revista Científica Prospherus is a continuously published, multidisciplinary digital journal, managed under a double-blind peer review system. Following an Open Access model, it guarantees free, immediate, and permanent access to all its scientific content for the global community, with no economic barriers or registration requirements. The journal maintains a strict commitment to academic integrity, aligning with the guidelines of the Declaration of Helsinki and the ICMJE Recommendations.

Article Processing Charge (APC) Policy: The journal applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) of USD $130 to manuscripts accepted for publication. This charge covers peer review, editing, layout, indexing, and publication of the article, and is invoiced only after manuscript acceptance, never at the time of submission.

Licensing and Copyright (Transition Scheme): Authors retain their intellectual property rights without restriction and grant the journal the right of first publication. The editorial archive is distributed under two licensing schemes depending on the publication period:

  1. Historical Editorial Archive (Through the 2026 volume): Published articles are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International license (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0), which allows downloading and sharing the work with proper attribution, but prohibits commercial use and the creation of derivative versions.
  2. Upcoming Editorial Archive (From the 2027 volume onward): In order to expand open science policies and meet advanced international indexing standards, manuscripts accepted for publication from 2027 onward will be distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International license (CC BY-NC 4.0), allowing the scientific community to reuse, adapt, and build upon the work for non-commercial purposes.
