La Gerencia Educativa como Motor de la Innovación Pedagógica en las Instituciones Educativas

Este artículo examina el impacto de la gerencia educativa en la innovación pedagógica en el Colegio Fiscal Técnico del Cantón Santa Rosa. Se busca identificar factores que facilitan u obstaculizan la innovación, utilizando una metodología mixta con encuestas y entrevistas. Los resultados revelan que la percepción de una gerencia educativa tradicional, con limitada participación docente, dificulta la implementación de prácticas innovadoras. La falta de recursos y la sobrecarga laboral también emergen como barreras significativas. Sin embargo, se identifica una correlación positiva entre una gestión participativa y la disposición a innovar, así como la importancia del liderazgo transformacional de los directivos en la promoción de una cultura de innovación. Se concluye que un enfoque de gestión más inclusivo, comunicación efectiva y liderazgo que inspire creatividad son esenciales para fomentar la innovación pedagógica. Se recomienda promover la participación docente en la gestión, fortalecer el liderazgo directivo, asignar recursos para la innovación y reducir la sobrecarga laboral.
