About the Journal

The Prospherus Scientific Journal is a multidisciplinary digital publication with continuous periodicity, managed under a double-blind peer review system. Adhering to the Diamond Open Access model, it guarantees free, immediate, and permanent access to all of its scientific content for the global community, with no economic barriers or registration requirements. The journal maintains a strict commitment to academic integrity, aligning with the guidelines of the Declaration of Helsinki and the ICMJE Recommendations.

Fee Policy (APC-Free): Institutionally funded by Edúcate Ecuador, the journal does not apply Article Processing Charges (APCs). Authors are completely exempt from fees for the submission, evaluation, review, editing, layout, or publication of their manuscripts.

Licensing and Copyright (Transition Regime): Authors retain their intellectual property rights without restriction and grant the journal the right of first publication. The editorial archive is distributed under two licensing schemes depending on the publication period:

1. Historical Editorial Archive (up to the 2026 volume): Published articles are distributed under the international Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 license (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0), which allows the work to be downloaded and shared with attribution to the authors, but prohibits commercial exploitation and the creation of modified versions.

2. Upcoming Editorial Archive (from the 2027 volume onward): In order to expand open science policies and meet advanced international indexing standards, manuscripts accepted for publication from 2027 onward will be distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International license (CC BY-NC 4.0), allowing the scientific community to reuse, adapt, and build upon the work on a non-commercial basis.
