Análisis de la Traducción Literaria y su Impacto en la Comprensión Intercultural en el Colegio de Bachillerato Benigno Malo de la Parroquia Sucre, Ecuador

La presente investigación, con enfoque cuantitativo no experimental, analizó el impacto de la traducción literaria en la comprensión intercultural de 1.319 estudiantes del Colegio Benigno Malo en Ecuador. El objetivo fue determinar si la exposición a textos traducidos influye en su competencia intercultural. Una muestra estratificada (n=298) respondió un cuestionario validado (α=0.87) que midió la exposición a textos traducidos y la competencia intercultural. Los principales resultados revelaron que el 68% de los estudiantes desarrollaron mayor empatía cultural (M=4.2, DE=0.7), y se encontró una correlación positiva moderada (r=0.42, p<0.01) entre la frecuencia de lectura y la capacidad de deconstruir estereotipos. Sin embargo, el 35% de los docentes no abordaba explícitamente el análisis intercultural, y el 25% de los estudiantes mostró dificultades para interpretar referentes culturales complejos. En conclusión, la traducción literaria demostró ser una herramienta eficaz para fomentar la interculturalidad, pero su impacto óptimo requiere estrategias pedagógicas intencionadas, selección cuidadosa de obras culturalmente relevantes y formación docente especializada. Los hallazgos aportan evidencia empírica para diseñar políticas educativas interculturales basadas en la literatura traducida.
