El Estudio De Caso: La Relación Entre El Currículo Por Competencias y el DUA En La Educación Ecuatoriana

Este estudio de caso examina la relación entre el currículo por competencias y el Diseño Universal para el Aprendizaje (DUA) en la educación ecuatoriana, analizando la percepción y aplicación de 186 docentes de Ambato. Los resultados revelan que si bien los docentes valoran el currículo por competencias, enfrentan desafíos en su implementación debido a la falta de recursos y capacitación. Existe una correlación positiva entre la comprensión del DUA y la efectividad en la aplicación del currículo por competencias, aunque persisten obstáculos sistémicos. Se concluye que el DUA puede fortalecer la implementación del currículo por competencias, pero requiere un enfoque integral que involucre la formación docente, la adaptación curricular y el apoyo institucional. Se recomienda fortalecer la capacitación en DUA, fomentar la colaboración docente y adaptar el currículo nacional para promover una educación más inclusiva.
