Percepción docente sobre las estrategias pedagógicas y su relación con el desempeño académico percibido en la enseñanza de Matemáticas en Bachillerato del cantón El Empalme.

La enseñanza de la Matemática en el Bachillerato constituye un pilar fundamental para el desarrollo del pensamiento lógico y la resolución de problemas, competencias esenciales ante las demandas del siglo XXI. Sin embargo, los persistentes vacíos de aprendizaje y el bajo rendimiento académico impulsan la necesidad de analizar el impacto de las prácticas docentes en el aula. El objetivo de este estudio fue analizar la asociación de las estrategias pedagógicas utilizadas por los docentes de Matemática sobre el desempeño académico de los estudiantes de Bachillerato en el cantón El Empalme, Ecuador.
Se desarrolló una investigación con enfoque cuantitativo, diseño no experimental y corte transversal, con un alcance descriptivo-correlacional. Participaron de manera voluntaria 30 docentes de Matemática que laboran en instituciones educativas de la localidad. Para la recolección de los datos se aplicó un cuestionario estructurado compuesto por 27 ítems distribuidos en cinco dimensiones validadas por 3 expertos de la Universidad de Milagro, procesando la información en el software estadístico Jamovi.
Los resultados evidenciaron que las estrategias mejor valoradas por los docentes son la resolución guiada de problemas (M = 4,13) y el trabajo colaborativo (M = 4,50). Por el contrario, se identificó un nivel de implementación moderado en tecnologías digitales debido a problemas de conectividad institucional (M = 3,07), identificándose además limitaciones contextuales como la carga administrativa y significativos vacíos de conocimientos previos en los estudiantes (M = 3,77). El estudio concluye que las estrategias pedagógicas activas fueron percibidas como favorables., pero su implementación puede verse limitada, al optimizar la infraestructura tecnológica y atender las barreras del entorno institucional.
