Aplicación de la Neurociencia del Lenguaje en la enseñanza de la lectura y escritura en estudiantes con necesidades educativas específicas

El estudio tuvo como objetivo evaluar el impacto de la aplicación de estrategias pedagógicas fundamentadas en la neurociencia del lenguaje sobre el desarrollo de la lectura y la escritura en estudiantes con necesidades educativas específicas. La población a la que se dirige el estudio fueron15 estudiantes de primer grado de una Unidad Educativa en Guayaquil-Ecuador. Para recopilar la información sobre diferentes aspectos relacionados con el dominio Cognitivos-Lingüístico, los procesos Conductuales y Motivacionales, y el Desempeño y Progreso, se diseñaron 3 (tres) instrumentos basados en la escala de Likert de 5 puntos. Los resultados muestran que los estudiantes mejoraron en su capacidad para reconocer y decodificar palabras tras la intervención, en cuanto a la comprensión lectora, los estudiantes también mostraron avances importantes en entender el contenido de los textos, en relación los procesos conductuales y motivacionales se mejoro notablemente la atención de los estudiantes durante las actividades de lectura y escritura, en cuanto a la motivación y la actitud, los estudiantes mostraron un aumento significativo en su interés, disposición y entusiasmo por las actividades de lectura y escritura tras la intervención. Se evidencia una mejora significativa en la fluidez lectora de los estudiantes, este avance se manifiesta en una lectura más rápida, precisa y con entonación adecuada. Se concluye que, la implementación de estrategias didácticas fundamentadas en la neurociencia demostró ser altamente efectiva en el fortalecimiento de múltiples dimensiones del aprendizaje lector en estudiantes con necesidades educativas específicas.
